Data Entry & Credentialing Specialist

The Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative, Sauk City, WI, has an onsite position for a Data Entry & Credentialing Specialist in our Credential Department.  Medical credentialing verifies that physicians and other healthcare professionals have the required training and certification along with professional experience to provide healthcare services to patients. This position requires knowledge of credentialing standards and processes along with the ability to accurately implement them for various healthcare providers. Candidates should have an interest and efficient skills for working with databases, web based queries, and imaging software. Effective communication skills using email and phone along with attention to detail are essential for this position. A qualified candidate is accurate and has the ability to learn and follow processes in a timely manner. A two year degree in a relevant field along with previous work experience is preferred.
