The Corpus Christi Mass and Procession will be held on Sunday, June 18 at 11:30 AM at Durward’s Glen Retreat and Conference Center.
This is the 104th year that the feast of Corpus Christi has been celebrated at Durward's Glen. This traditional Catholic Feast of Corpus Christi dates back to 1230 AD. The mass will be celebrated at the outdoor Holy Family Altar by Fr. Pedro Escribano, from Divine Mercy Parish.
Mass will be followed by a Eucharistic procession. The Eucharistic procession will start at the hilltop, and include 4th degree Knights of Columbus (in full dress), flower girls, candles, incense, local musicians, flags, the crucifix, and the Blessed Sacrament carried under the decorative canopy.
A picnic style lunch of brats, hot dogs, salads, and beverages will be served afterward (freewill offering).
This is a family day not to be missed at the beautiful Durward’s Glen. Tours of the grounds and the historic Log Lodge will be available that day.
