Meet American Girl Author Kathleen Ernst

Meet bestselling writer Kathleen Ernst, author of 20 American Girl books. These include her award-winning stories about Caroline Abbott, the historical character she created for American Girl. Kathleen will also be talking about her newest American Girl book, Gunpowder and Tea Cakes: My Journey With Felicity, as well as about the Josefina, Kirsten, Kit, and Molly mysteries she has written.

Afterwards Kathleen will answer questions, give away door prizes, pose for photos with the girls, and sign her books (copies of which will be available for purchase).

This hour-long program is free and open to the public. Girls are invited to bring their dolls.

Kathleen will remain at the library to present her one-hour Chloe Ellefson Mysteries program for adults and mature teens at 7:00 p.m.
