The Beaverland Must-Skis water ski performance team from Beaver Dam will be featured again at the Merrimac Community Festival, scheduled for August 6, 2016. The Must-Skis will perform at 2pm and 5pm using a total of 2200 Evinrude horsepower and 50+ ski team members. This team was ranked sixth in the nation in 2014 and the team continues to participate in two water ski tournaments every year, as well as their regular scheduled shows. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy these shows at Merrimac’s Memorial Park on the shoreline of beautiful Lake Wisconsin.
The Village of Merrimac Wisconsin will host its 11th annual Merrimac Community Festival on Saturday August 6. This event will take place at Merrimac’s Memorial Park on the shore of Lake Wisconsin and proceeds will be applied toward future improvements to Merrimac parks. Merrimac is located on the eastern edge of Sauk County and is seven miles northwest of Lodi (across the ferry), eleven miles south of Baraboo, eleven miles north of Prairie du Sac, and fifteen miles southwest of Portage.
Planned festival activities will include two water ski shows, a raffle, food and beverage vendors, a horseshoe pitching tournament, chicken drop game, kids’ super hero fun run and kids’ activity tent, live music, arts & crafts vendors and a spectacular view of beautiful Lake Wisconsin!
