So fasten your hiking boots, and get ready for fun in Sauk Prairie with these 5 hiking trails:
The Great Sauk State Trail is a paved trail that begins at the base of the old railroad bridge on the South side of Sauk Prairie and continues North through the Sauk Prairie State Recreation Area. Fun Fact: It will soon connect to Devil’s Lake State Park! This 10.5-mile trail features art pieces and beautiful scenery of the Wisconsin River and the Sauk Prairie State Recreation Area.

4. Gibraltar Rock State Natural Area
Gibraltar provides a beautiful view of the Wisconsin River Valley and Lake Wisconsin located just outside of Sauk Prairie in Lodi, Wisconsin. This is a great trail for views of the sunrise and sunset over the Wisconsin River Valley!
3. Ferry Bluff State Natural Area
Directions to the beginning of the trail: E9974 State Rd 60, Sauk City, WI 53583
The top of the bluff reveals dramatic views of the Wisconsin River Valley while the lower trail takes you to the foot of Cactus Bluff where you travel through the forest for views of the eroded cliff base. Ferry Bluff offers views you do not want to miss!
2. Parfrey’s Glen State Natural Area
Parfrey's Glen, Wisconsin's first State Natural Area, is a spectacular gorge deeply incised into the sandstone conglomerate of the south flank of the Baraboo Hills. The sounds of the running stream create a peaceful ambiance as you hike and observe the beautiful scenery around you.

Devil’s Lake State Park offers 29 miles of trails for you to hike on! This State Park is famous for its 500-foot quartzite bluffs that overlook a 360-acre lake, a view you will never forget!
