The Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors play a vital role in supporting our mission and serving our members. Their dedication and involvement allow us to provide a variety of impactful programs, events, and ceremonies that benefit our local business community. Ambassadors are instrumental in planning and organizing key events such as the Annual Dinner, Chamber Bowl, Morning Blend, Spring Swing Golf Outing, Community Expo, Summer Sweep Recruitment Blitz, Serving Up Knowledge Sessions, and numerous Business After Hours and Ribbon Cutting events. Ambassador meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:00 AM.
The Economic Development Committee is a cornerstone of the Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce, playing a critical role in advancing our mission to be the voice of business in the region. Committee members are champions for strategic policy, advocating for initiatives that drive business creation, retention, and growth, ensuring a strong and sustainable local economy. Through collaboration with elected officials, school board leaders, and community partners, the committee fosters relationships that support long-term economic success. Volunteers are instrumental in developing key programs, such as the State of the Riverway Report and Economic Outlook, and spearhead initiatives requiring coordination with local villages, towns, and the school district. The committee’s focus on research and data collection provides the foundation for informed decision-making and meaningful progress. The Economic Development Committee meets on the second Friday of each month at 8:00 AM at the Village of Prairie du Sac.
The Promotions Committee is the driving force behind the Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce's mission to enhance the quality of life in our community and elevate the local retail and tourism experience. This energetic and creative group is responsible for planning dynamic retail initiatives and special events that showcase everything Sauk Prairie has to offer. Committee members play a vital role in community branding, marketing, media relations, and making strategic promotional investments to attract visitors and support local businesses. The Promotions Committee meets on the first Thursday of every month at 8:00 AM.
