Sauk Prairie Healthcare hosts visitors from Federal Reserve Bank
Sauk Prairie Healthcare (SPH) had the pleasure of hosting visitors from Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for a facility tour and information-sharing session on Tuesday, August 23. Executive Vice President, Anna Paulson, and Vice President and Director of Regional Research, Leslie McGranahan represented the Reserve Bank. Also on hand were the CEOs of Prairie Ridge Health in Columbus, Reedsburg Area Medical Center, and Vernon Memorial Healthcare in Viroqua. Several Sauk Prairie community leaders also participated, including Roxi Maier and Steve Ploetz from Bank of Prairie du Sac, Jeff Wright, Superintendent of Schools Sauk Prairie School District, Tywana German, Executive Director Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce, Todd Lassanske, General Manager at McFarlane Manufacturing Co. Jason Scott, Director at Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, also participated.
Led by SPH CEO Shawn Lerch, the discussion covered topics including labor supply issues, housing supply and affordability, monetary policy, and lending rates. Of particular interest to the Federal Reserve team was the success of the Youth Apprenticeship Program between McFarlane’s and the Sauk Prairie School District.
