PAWS Walk for Animals
Time to leash up Fido, put on your walking shoes and Walk for Animals! A yearly favorite, this event brings together local animal lovers and their canine companions for a walk to benefit the more than 2000 animals the Sauk County Humane Society helps every year.
Walkers will have their choice of two routes: a three-mile walk or one-mile stroll on Baraboo’s beautiful River Walk. Both will begin and end at the Maxwell Potter Conservancy/Baraboo Dog Park.
As an added bonus, we will have fabulous prizes for our top individual and team fundraisers!
The event will be held at the Baraboo Dog Park on May 3, 2025 from 8am to 11:30am.
Please join us! Head to our event page now to register and start collect pledges. Ask your friends, family, and neighbors to make a pledge donation on your behalf to help our homeless animals. You can raise money as an individual or work as a team!
Register prior to April 11th to receive your shirt in time for the event! If you would prefer a paper form, PAWS brochures will be available at the shelter and at many Sauk County businesses after March 30th.
We're thrilled to announce that Tim Elliott, an anchor for WMTV 15 News, will be joining us again for the walk, along with his dog Dempsey!
Back this year is our popular Inspiration Alley…anyone pledging at least $25 for a walker or a team will get a sign along the walk that honors a beloved pet or favorite person!
We hope to see you there!Images
