Suits of Armor

Meet Ron Poniatowski MFA at the Ruth Culver Community Library Wednesday, October 24 at 2:30 p.m.  He is an amateur hobby armorer who enjoys creating full scale medieval amor from steel.  To date he has created two harnesses (suits) to hone his skills. He will talk briefly about the history and construction of armor, as well as how different ways people make costume armor without metal. See some of his work and create some of your own out of cardboard. Snack included.  This event is appropriate for school-age children.  Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
