  • Payroll and Accounts Payable Clerk

    The Village of Sauk City is seeking candidates for a Payroll & Accounts Payable Clerk. This person will perform a full range of duties supporting the operation of the municipal government and accounting department. Exceptional clerical, accounting, and customer service skills are required. Experience with accounting and bookkeeping practices, payroll, AP/AR, and bank reconciliation is expected. There are a variety of routine and complex clerical and bookkeeping functions including coding and processing invoices, tracking and updating inventory, preparing reports, receipting payments, assisting with tax collections and numerous other duties. 
     
    Desired qualifications are an Associate Degree in Accounting/Finance or five years of experience in the field, and entry level Human Resource capacity. High school diploma or its equivalent required. Caselle Connect software experience desired. Strong proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite. Individual must be a team player with exceptional attention to detail. Wages $26+, based on qualifications. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package.
