Certified Veterinary Technician Or Experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician, or an experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant previous experience is a MUST.

Pay is negotiable and will be based on previous experience.

Technicians will assist with surgery care (based on experience), patient exams, filling medications, discussing treatment plans, restraining pets, coordinate hospitalized care, assist our clients in person and on the phone, and will help fill in at our front desk as a customer service representative. Candidate must either be certified or currently enrolled in an accredited veterinary technician program or have at least 1 year of veterinary assistant experience to be considered. Position will offer supplemental care of our boarding patients as needed.

We are an AAHA accredited veterinary hospital that offers boarding, daycare, grooming, and training in our pet resort. We are a fast-paced hospital so strong time management is a must. We have three veterinarians performing a full range of surgical procedures as well as outstanding routine care.

Business hours are 7:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday and Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm. Rotating Saturday availability is a must. Shifts are four, 10 hr days.
