Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scooper 18 years or over to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and prompt customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. You will engage with customers, take orders, and ensure a clean and inviting environment. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, this position is perfect for you.

Duties

• Serve ice cream, Slushies, Popcorn, Nachos, candy etc. to customers with a smile
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area and equipment
• Upsell additional products to enhance the customer experience
• Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Bar, restaurant, or quick service fast food environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a VERY fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in food handling is a plus
• Experience with bussing or kitchen duties is beneficial but not required
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Please provide two references

This is can be a very lucrative summer job ($10 -$50 hourly pay range is including daily Tips) with plentiful tips for the right individual. Must be ready to commit their summer weekends as an Ice Cream Scooper at the famous Merrimac Ferry, and help create memorable experiences for our customers while enjoying a fun and dynamic work environment!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $10.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
