    The purpose of the Program Specialist- Community Support Program (CSP) is to support the CSP unit by performing a variety of administrative duties and assist with consumer related activities including quality measurement tools, surveys, and audits.

     

     

    Essential Duties

     

    • Create, design and/or type, and distribute a variety of documents such as evaluations, schedules, physician’s authorizations, informational materials/publications, and meeting agendas/minutes

     

    • Develop, monitor, and assist with departmental surveys and audits by gathering data directly from consumers and tabulating and summarizing data to provide outcome reports.

     

    • Record, monitor, and report various program statistics such as tracking court commitment dates, court report deadlines, internal program evaluations, state program evaluations, surveys, and quality measurement assessments.

     

    • Collaborate with consumers and CSP staff to verify and/or assist in scheduling services and appointments.

     

    • Receive and review information from community service providers.  Organize, files, and publish/distribute the materials as needed.

     

    • Review unit policies and procedures, monitor unit compliance with audits, surveys, and requests for information, and participate in program development and evaluation.

     

    • Transcribe minutes during unit meetings.

     

    • Prepare, process, and maintain paperwork for volunteers, contracted staff, and providers including: authorizations, background checks, copies of professional license, and training/orientation records.

     

    • Assist with various departmental functioning such as mail, ordering supplies, sending letters, and updating forms.

     

    • Assist other units/programs in the Department who have program support needs.

     

    • Participate in ongoing profession training and development.
     
    • Programs in different units in the Human Services Department
     
    • And other duties as assigned.
     

    Required Working Hours

    Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.  Please note these hours are subject to change and additional hours may be needed or required.  Compensation for additional hours beyond normal working hours are subject to applicable state and federal regulations.

     

     

    Minimum Training and Education

     

    Required:

    Associate’s degree in Business Management or another related field

    3 years of administrative experience

     

    Licenses/Certifications: 

    Wisconsin State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License

     

    Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
