    Title:  Communications Specialist
    FTE:  1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
    Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
    Work Location: Hybrid option available
    Holiday Rotation:  n/a
    Weekend Rotation:  n/a
     
    POSITION SUMMARY
    The Communications Specialist will assist the Marketing team to plan, implement, and track digital and traditional marketing strategies focused on promoting Sauk Prairie Healthcare’s services and brand. This role will be responsible for researching and writing content for Sauk Prairie Healthcare’s website, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and press releases, as well as ensuring that content gets distributed through all of our digital channels.
     
    POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Writing & Content Development

    • Write and develop digital content for website, blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
    • Write for print including: press releases, brochures, flyers, postcards, and ads.
    • Interview subjects for written or video publication.
    • Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all channels.
    Digital Administration
    • Social Media:  Maintain active social media presence aligned with the brand. Serve as an administrator of company’s social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. Maintain knowledge of healthcare industry news and emerging digital media trends.
    • Website:  Update and maintain website content and metadata.
    • Email Marketing:  Assist in coordinating email campaigns. 
    • Track and report campaign results.
    • Monitor online reviews and follow response protocol.
    • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to support digital and overall marketing goals.
     Other Duties as Required
    • Perform day-to-day marketing department support functions, including but not limited to:  inventory and distribution of promotional items and printed material; event set-up and coordination; ad hoc research and project management.
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS
    Education:
    • Required:  Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in journalism, communications, English, digital marketing, related field or equivalent work experience
    • Preferred:  None
    Experience:
    • Required:  Demonstrated experience by writing samples and other digital or social media examples
    • Preferred: Relevant or equivalent work experience
