About Us
With its 150+ year history, Durward's Glen has touched countless lives with peace and tranquility. Its pristine setting, nestled in the Baraboo Bluffs, is unsurpassed in natural beauty. Originally owned and developed by Scottish immigrant Bernard Durward in the middle 1800's, Durward's Glen has a reputation for providing ''the peace that you seek.''
Walk the nature trails visiting the Glen - a natural rock formation and waterway, the 350+ year old Oak Tree or the 80+ species of birds there; visit the religious shrines; pray in the Immaculate Conception Chapel - a Catholic Oratory for the diocese of Madison; visit the historic buildings; or enjoy the pond, trout stream and wetlands. Whatever you do at Durward's Glen, you will create memories that last a life-time.
Overnight lodging is available in the historic Log Lodge with both an East Wing and South Wing available for group accommodations. The Artist Cottage and the Cornerstone Hermitage offer individual stays. The Main hall and kitchen are available for day rental for event or celebrations. The grounds are open to the public every day from dawn until dusk.
Durward's Glen is managed by a nonprofit that works to keep the Glen open to the public for the community to enjoy and treasure. Your donations and support are appreciated.Video Media
