About Us

We are a full service law firm with experienced attorneys practicing in Personal Injury, Business Representation, Criminal/Traffic, Family, Real Estate, Litigation, Tax Return Prep, and Municipal Representation.

We are a long-standing part of the community. The firm was founded in the early 1930’s by Attorney Charles J. Ploetz. In the early 1960’s the firm became Ploetz & Glynn, with the addition of Attorney Gerald T. Glynn. In the intervening years Patrick J. Taggart joined the firm. Taggart was later elected Sauk County Circuit Court Judge. In the late 1970’s Attorney Carl R. Marquardt and Attorney Robert Curtin merged their Sauk City practice into the firm. Robert Curtin was later elected Sauk County Circuit Court Judge. In the late 1970' Attorney Dale Carlson and Attorney Rick Koeck joined the practice. Attorney Franklin R. Kirk followed in 1984. Attorney Jama S. Graves joined the firm in the mid nineties. Attorney Gina D. Nugget joined the firm in 2016. The law practice is owned by Kirk and Graves LLC, utilizing the business name KIRK GRAVES & NUGENT.
