On October 23rd, Ranch & Root Farmer's Co-op celebrated its official ribbon cutting in Sauk City, marking a significant milestone for local agriculture. Owners & Visionaries, Rebecca Litscher (left) and Courtney Feigl (right), have created a unique opportunity for 32 local farmers (and growing) to expand their operations and provide fresh, high-quality products to the Sauk Prairie community and beyond. The co-op aims to strengthen the local economy while preserving the region’s proud agricultural heritage, ensuring that future generations can continue farming in the Sauk Prairie area. This exciting new venture underscores the vital role agriculture plays in the community’s growth and sustainability.
